How do I get money by hosting a Gold Party Chicago event?
There are three ways, so listen up.
One, you can sell any gold, silver, or platinum jewelry items of your own.
Two, by hosting a Gold Party Chicago event, you'll receive 10% of all the jewelry we purchase, even if you don't sell jewelry of your own. For example, if we purchase $4,500 in unwanted items, you receive $450.
Three, you receive an additional 3% from Gold Party Chicago events which are hosted by guests from your party*! For example, if three of your guests host a party that gross $4,500 each, you get $135 from each, or $405.
How long does a Gold Party Chicago event last?
Gold Party Chicago event will last about 23 hours.
We will work with each guest privately to appraise their jewelry.
Allow a bit more time for a larger crowd.
Who should I invite to my Gold Party Chicago event?
Invite friends, family, neighbors, co-workers, and those quirky guys and gals from your book club. It's a great chance for all of your circles to meet and mingle.
Our most successful events are parties with 1520 guests.
The number of guests that attend is important, but so is the quality of gold, silver, or platinum jewelry your guests bring to sell.
What if some people can't attend my Gold Party Chicago event?
They can still sell, too. Ask for a photocopy of their driver's license or state issued ID card, full legal name, mailing address, contact phone number, and email address.
We will appraise their items and contact them directly with our offer. If they accept, we'll issue them a check, and you still receive 10%.
I have some old jewelry I want to sell, but I don't want to throw a party.
Will Gold Party Chicago still buy from me?
Stop worrying, of course we will. Our sister company is Joseph Ford Jewelry Exchange. These expert precious metal buyers will give you top dollar for your items, even without a party.

What other items does Gold Party Chicago buy besides gold, silver, and platinum jewelry?
Gold Party Chicago also buys scrap gold, coins and coin collections, silver flatware, fine Swiss timepieces, diamonds, and even gold teeth.
Sometimes a girl even gets tired of her best friend. For diamonds, bring any certification paperwork or receipts from the original purchase. It's not required, but it will help insure an accurate appraisal and a quick transaction.
Bring any item, even if you're unsure of its worth.
I'm not sure if some of my jewelry is real gold. Can I test it myself?
Sure. Take a magnet from your refrigerator and run it over your jewelry. Gold doesn't contain any magnetic properties, so if your jewelry is attracted to the magnet, then it isn't gold, silver, or platinum.
If you're still not sure, bring your item to the party. Gold Party Chicago will test and appraise your jewelry for you.
I've seen other gold buying companies, like the ones you send gold to.
